Hi mom!!!!

This week went by SO FAST! so weird. it feels like not that much happened but really so much did! uhm some key things that happened are 1. i tricked an elder into telling me i was beautiful hehehe (tricked I DONT THINK SO) but ya that was good lol but okay also we had such a good devotional on tuesday night and it really hit me hard on what kind of missionary i want to be and actually what kind of person i want to be as well.It was by Brother and Sister Nielsen and they talked about how we need to trust the Lord. there was a quote that I loved from it that said "don't pray that your circumstances or trials will change. pray that God will change you within your circumstances" i love that! we have to trust God that he has given us our trials for a reason and ask Him how we can work through them. God loves us so much and I'm learning that so much here!! I'm so grateful!!! 

Visitor center training starts on Wednesday which means that the elders in our district and zone leave this week :( RIP they're so funny and nice and make all of us laugh so hard but its ok cause they're gunna change so many ppls lives in texas!!!! on a positive note though we met some sisters that are doing visitor center training right now and they know how to welcome people to temple square in sign language!!! how cool!!! so Im excited to learn that! 

We are learning so much here though. And everything that we learn just makes me so happy. Even if we are learning how to involve members in our lessons or love investigators even when we don't know them that well, i just feel so good because this is my job!!! what a privilege!! m job is to love people and teach them about Jesus Christ who loves them more than anyone can comprehend and will bring so much joy into their lives!! could it get any better? i don't think so! here is no other place i would rather be on the earth right now. i love being a missionary mom!! Being STL is so fun. I love all the sisters SO MUCH and I've only known some of them for a week and yet i know they are going to be amazing missionaries and I'm so excited for them!!!

The number one thing that i learned this week is that God knows us personally. He really does. I know that our families are sent to us for a reason. Mom and dad I've learned so much from you that i couldn't learn from anyone else! and same with max, norah and kails. I'm so grateful for you guys and I thank God everyday that He loved me so much that He gave me you guys as a family. God sent me the best district and has taught me so much through them!!! Im so happy and we all have so many reasons to be happy. If you're not happy or you're struggling ​​​​​​email me or pray or go serve someone and i promise you that you will feel better:)

HI MOM!!!

first of all idk what you're talking about I am the neatest person ever i never make a mess???!! lol thanks for that roast but anyways miss u too:)  I'm happy for u!!! i know this will be so good for the fam and I am excited for u all i ask is that i have a huge butt closet and a nice window with a window seat that i can look out of dramatically while reading a book or like writing in my journal idk sounds like heaven to me!

ok! wow you sent me a lot of questions in your dear elder to me and i forgot it in my room whoops but ill try to remember them all!! also when people say that days feel like weeks and weeks feel like days they were not kidding!!! man its so weird. also i have dementia so i literally cant remember one thing that i did this week rip. ANYWAYS 

mtc life is soooo good holy. such a party every day!!! my district has the most fun and we all get along so well and ugh ya i am so blessed like hello what did i do to deserve this?? idk but i feel so loved. 

my comp and i are STLs which is basically like the sister version of the zone leaders (but better lol) so we have 5 districts in our zone and we are responsible for all the sisters in all the districts! lots of work but its so fun getting to know all the sisters and praying for them every night and loving them! each one of them are seriously angels and are such amazing missionaries! its so fun seeing so many people come from all around the world and then we are all so close right off the bat and ah life is just so good! i love my calling! we got to welcome all the newbies on Wednesday and it was weird thinking  that was me a week ago but it feels like I've been here for so much longer. i feel like a grampa so old ah already like ok ya I'm ready to just go and teach people that Jesus loves them!!!!!!!!!!! 

my companion is seriously an angel sent from heaven to me because she is the nicest cutest sweetest human ever. she like accidentally gave me like 5 fries instead of 6 and said sorry and then just gave me all her fries like sorry what??? 

mom yes!!! You're the best missionary!!!!!!! bear your testimony to her. that's the best way to teach with the spirit. the spirit will bring your message into her heart and she will know through your example the things that she needs to do to come back to Chirst, who is waiting for her with open arms. the lord loves us so much and knows us personally and wants to help us so bad!  

a lot happened this week but tbh i cant remeber any of it??? ah????

oh ya the new part of the mtc was dedicated which was so good cause henry b eyring came and elder oaks and that was sick!!!! tbh i was sooooo tired that i couldnt stay awake but i heard the prayer and it was amazing! 

AHHA ok also we played beach volleyball and it was the funniest thing that ive ever been honoured enough to participate in holy it was so funny and were going to play again tonight but the elders in my district are so competative and its so hilarious cause all the sisters just were laughing the whole time and then the elders just went along with it and we were all gut laughing the whole time it was a harder workout than the actual volleyball itself ahahhah ah i love my district 

uHM OK i just broke the computer i was on so thats tragic and ellder mclellan here cant fix it so lets blame him cause now i cant send pics awwwww rip ill send some in a sec when i find out how to do it :)

MOM!! HELLO!

i love the mtc more than anything!!!! seriously so much fun. like im beyond happy everyday!!!!!!!! my companions name is sister jensen and shes an angel sent to me! shes so nice and kind and so forgiving.(which is very important obviously haha) im so blessed! i love learning so much everyday! im tired but we pray for strength and we recieve it everytime. im so happy and grateful and my heart just wants to burst with joy!!! i miss you and i think about you lots! yesterday (my second day) my companion and i were called as STLs (sister trainer leaders) so im excited for that responsibility!! i love evevryone and everything here mom! my district is so good. we get along so well and we teach eachother so much! the food isnt bad but it could be better! it just like pretty average american food so it could be worse! we got to watch robert d. hales funeral which was amazing and so spritiual!! 

ok MOM ALSO I FORGOT MY RUNNERS!!! so last night we are going to workout and im searching through my bags and i realized i forgot them!!! ah!!! soooo can you maybe send me some OR they said that if you give someone in provo money they can buy them and then they can do same day delivery to the mtc which would be very ncie :) have them or you send them to this address!! thank u!!! sorry im dumb!!!

we also got to go to the temple today for the first time so im sending u some pics of that too:) the sisters in the picture are the sisters in my district and all 6 of us share a room together :) its a party and i love it! last night we stayed up late (dont tell anyone hehe) and ate cinnamon buns and hot pockets and then other sister came and brought chips! blessings!

im grateful everyday im here for the comofrting spirit that is with me and i cant believe ive only been here 3 days how weird is that

We went to In and Out for Emma's last meal!  We met Brandy and Josh there which was so fun to see her!  Sister Piepgrass was counting the minutes to 1pm, we left and met Brandy and Josh at the Provo Temple, where we said goodbye! (Brandy took tons of pictures!!)

We drove up and got a pink sticker on our truck, indicating that we had a Sister. We drove into a parking lot because we had a Thule on our vehicle and would not fit in the underground parking.  We met a sweet Brother Weeks and sister that was going to the Philippines, didn't get her name, but she wasn't going to Elder Kearl's or Elder Wardrop's mission.

Brother Weeks was great!  He took a family picture of us and asked to make sure he was tagged in the photo!  Emma was literally, VIBRATING with excitement!  We all hugged her again and cheered for her as she walked away.  

Steve left the pink sticker on the truck...the entire way home.  He was very sentimental about it.  I took it off when I got home from Edmonton. (Had to take Kailey home) The sticker now rests in a safe spot, so that Steve can have it always ! <3
